My 15 month trip in Africa in photos – PART 4 – Kruger safari :)

Honestly, I hadn’t expected Africa could be so stunning. I was amazed and so happy there 🙂

I started my long „trip“ in Africa in June 2018 and then for 15 months, I traveled around South Africa, Eswatini (before: Swaziland), and Mozambique.

You’ve already explored  Cape Town with me (the picture story is HERE) – maybe the most beautiful city in the world?, Hermanus – the best place to watch whales in the world? (the picture story is HERE), and Johannesburg – the most dangerous cities in the world? (the picture story is HERE).

Now, you’ll explore with me the most famous safari park in South Africa – Kruger national park! 🙂

My dream came true! In September 2018, I went on a safari in Africa for the first time in my life 🙂

In Kruger national park, I booked a safari tour with a guide because I wanted to see as many animals as possible 🙂 …by the way, you can also go in your own car, it’s much cheaper 🙂

The animals are always given way here. Everybody has to stop, and wait until the animals cross the road 🙂

Honestly, it isn’t a very nice feeling when a lion is walking around your jeep with no roof 😀

Rhinos are giant! They look like a tank on legs 😀

6. 

It’s very hard to take a good picture of hippos because they are the most aggressive animals in Africa. Moreover, they spend up to 16 hours a day in water! 🙂

Safari symbiosis – herbivores (=býložravci) together 🙂

Sunbathing crocodiles 😀

Who can find a giraffe? 😀 ..by the way, giraffes are, of course, the tallest mammals on Earth.

The hyena was like: „Why are you staring at me?“ 😀

11. 

Where’s the leopard? 😀 …Leopards are very similar to cheetahs. In my eyes, the biggest difference is cheetahs are much thinner than leopards.

Of course, there are thousands of antelopes in the whole park. Kudus (in the picture) are their biggest species 🙂

13. 

Don’t make elephants angry! Don’t get too close! – our experience 🙂 .They might attack you! …We got too close and our guide started to yell to let the elephant know we aren’t dangerous, we are just people.

14. 

It’s pretty easy to spot elephants 😀 – the largest land animals 🙂

I recommend visiting Kruger park because there are so many animals and the park isn’t as expensive as other famous parks in Africa (as I’ve heard) 🙂

By the way, next time you can look forward to pictures from another country – Mozambique! – and it’s a country which saved my life! 🙂 ..I’ll tell you more next time 🙂
